Dragon Glass Hire was inspired by a beautiful wedding in 2020, where each table was set with ruby, emerald, and sapphire glasses. The effect was simply breathtaking. As guests raised turquoise hand-blown goblets to toast the happy couple, the colours shimmered in the light, casting soft reflections across the white tablecloths. It was a simple detail, yet it transformed the entire room and made every guest feel truly special.
After searching for companies offering coloured glassware to hire and finding none, we felt inspired to create that opportunity ourselves. There is something truly transformative about coloured glass – it brings warmth, depth, and character to a setting in a way that clear glass simply cannot.
Since then, we have carefully curated a collection of beautiful coloured pieces, selecting glasses that feel joyful and special to hold. We also offer clear glassware with hand-painted stems and bases as a more affordable option, without losing that magical touch. Today, our collection is large enough to cater for up to 300 guests.
Rather than offering hundreds of identical glasses, our collection is made up of unique pieces, each full of charm and personality. Some are available in sets of ten, more often in sets of eight, alongside thoughtfully matched pairs and complementary groupings. The result is an elegant yet characterful table setting that feels both inviting and distinctive.
We also understand that delicate hand-blown glass isn’t for everyone. For guests who may feel more comfortable with something lighter or more durable, we offer beautiful plastic alternatives that still look stunning on the table and ensure everyone feels included.
