Wine Glasses for Red and White Wine

It is an easy indicator for guests to make their way to a table once pointed out the colour/s of the glasses. One can see immediately just by glancing into a room from the table top where to go.
We have a vast array of vintage, hand blown and modern red wine and white wine glasses. Some of these glasses originate from thousands of miles away.
As you can see, when they are not uniformly the same shape it adds a dynamism to the table. We can certainly achieve a visually pleasing balance on a table as we have lots of pairs. We rarely have more than a set of 6 but it is possible in some colours. The high V shaped ones in particular we have a lot of.
White wine glasses are generally smaller in size than red wine glasses. Some red wines need to breathe before drinking (improves the flavour if you wait a few minutes after pouring) therefore the glass has a larger liquid surface area for the air to get to it.
